Ms Linyi Tsai

Ms Linyi Tsai has been working for Department of Environmental Protection of Taipei City Government since 2014. She serves as deputy commissioner in charge of waste management, water pollution control, carbon reduction and environmental education of Taipei city. Before that, she worked at Taiwan Environmental Protection Administration for 20 years. She is an expert in environmental impact assessment and environmental management. She coordinated departments to formulate the GHG reduction target and action plan of Taipei city. In 2015, Taipei received the compliant symbol of Compact of mayors. Ms Linyi strives to improve resource recycling and carbon reduction to build a sustainable and livable city.
